The Phoenix holiday catering season kicks off just before Thanksgiving and continues on through the New Year.  From company parties to family gatherings, there are a few emerging trends this year. Winter wonderland themed catering eventAt first I was skeptical that a winter wonderland theme would work at Fresh Event Venue. For one, our venue has a lovely Tuscan feel, and winter wonderland seemed so modern I was afraid it would clash. Nevertheless, the event turned out stunning, and is one of my favorite events we have done at the venue.

New Years Eve cateringWho doesn’t like ringing in the new year? And what better way to do it than with a stylishly catered event? Last year Fresh from the Kitchen (FFTK) had the privilege to cater several New Year’s Eve parties, our favorite being that of Atlanta Brave’s baseball star Justin Upton and his fiancé Ashley. Held at their home in Paradise Valley, it was a swanky but down to earth affair. With the couples love for the South, and her love of Mexican food and also being vegetarian, it was fun to create the menu below.
