Corporate Catering: Picnics

Having a picnic for a catered corporate function is a great way to get colleagues together for those annual parties.
Summer is a difficult time to work in the office. The long days coupled with copious amounts of sunshine and breezy air make it difficult to focus and can lead to less productivity. It’s also a time that generates resentment towards the work place office (aka the place where we have to work for each day and can’t enjoy the summer weather).

Corporate Picnics

What is an office to do? Picnics with corporate catering are great ways to give back to your employees whether they happen during the workweek or over the weekend with an invitation extended to the rest of the worker’s family.

At Fresh From the Kitchen Catering, we believe in the power of teamwork and happy employees. We also believe that sharing a picnic together can boost morale. So if you’re ready to share the summer fun with your office by hiring a corporate picnic caterer, what are the first steps?

We’re so glad you asked.

Finding the Right Corporate Catering Company

First, determine the time and location for the event. This is something that generally helps with choosing a theme, figuring out the number of guests, and making a decision on budget.

Second, think of your budget for the event. This will determine almost all of the decisions you make with us so figure out how much you are willing to spend and how much you have to spend (who is coming? How many? Do you have any vegans, vegetarians. gluten-free needs, or other special foods considerations?).

Third, find a theme. If you need help with this, we’re here and we have a lot of ideas. We find that a lot of corporate offices tend to throw parties geared around a familiar theme with a connection to a current television show.

Fourth, choose food that matches your budget and your theme. We offer a variety of foods that can be prepared for your picnic. We also offer basic picnic staples.

Once you’ve made these decisions, there is nothing left to do but enjoy the special corporate picnic day with all of your employees and (possibly) families.
